MIRPUR (AJK), November 8: The 20th Annual Husn-e-Hussain Conference was held in Mirpur on Sunday under the chairmanship of Pir Syed Faiz-ul-Hassan Shah Bukhari, bringing together religious scholars, spiritual leaders, Naat reciters and devotees from different schools of thought.
The conference highlighted the exemplary lives, noble character, sacrifices and teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and Hazrat Imam Hassan (RA), while promoting love and respect for the Ahl-e-Bait and Islamic values.
Addressing the gathering, religious scholars discussed Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), the lives and teachings of the Ahl-e-Bait and the status of the Companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The speakers said the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) conveyed timeless lessons of truth, patience, courage and standing against oppression. They described Hazrat Imam Hassan (RA) as an example of tolerance, reconciliation and sacrifice for the greater unity of the Muslim Ummah.
The scholars stressed the importance of following the Holy Quran and Sunnah and urged Muslims to address sectarian differences through mutual respect, dialogue and tolerance rather than hatred and division.
They said Islam promotes love, brotherhood, justice and respect for humanity, adding that unity remains essential for the strength of the Muslim Ummah.
Naat reciters presented devotional poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his revered household.
The conference concluded with special prayers for Pakistan’s security, stability and prosperity, the success of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Muslim unity, peace across the Muslim world and the welfare of humanity.
Participants resolved to continue organising such gatherings to promote Islamic teachings and familiarise younger generations with Islamic history and the sacrifices of great Islamic personalities.
