MIRPUR ( AJK): June 17: Azad Jammu Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on Tuesday urged the international community to play its vibrant role to stop bloodshed and reign of state terrorism unleashed by Indian occupational forces against innocent Kashmiris in the Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir state.
The AJK President was talking to former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir and President Istehkam e Pakistan Party AJK chapter, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan who called on him at Jammu and Kashmir House in the federal metropolis, it was officially said on Tuesday
During the meeting, both the leaders discussed, in detail, the issues of mutual interest with particular focus on prevailing political and human rights situation in the Indian occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir.Both the leaders expressed their concern over India’s relentless repression of political and human rights in Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir, AJK President office later told this Correspondent Tuesday evening.
Welcoming the US President Donald Trump’s mediation offer, they stressed the need for Inclusion of Kashmiri leadership in the dialogue process to find out a durable solution to the long running Kashmir dispute.
They, however, maintained that implementation of the UNSC resolutions on Kashmir was the most feasible solution to the long-drawn conflict, according to the AJK President office.
