Doha, Qatar- ICC Eves Toastmasters Club celebrated the spirit of Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy during its 384th meeting, held last Tuesday. The evening was a beautiful blend of learning, laughter, leadership, and festive togetherness, making it a memorable experience for members and guests alike.
The meeting featured an enriching educational module on *Humorous Speech Contest*, presented by Toastmaster Sheeja Anis. Along with a test speech, her session offered members a next-level learning experience, highlighting the art of adding humour, timing, expression, and creativity to public speaking. It was an engaging opportunity for members to understand how humour can transform an ordinary speech into an entertaining and memorable one.
Toastmaster Shabnam Shaikh also delivered her final Level 2 speech on Mentors and Mentorship, successfully completing Level 2 of her Pathways journey. Her speech highlighted the role of mentors in guiding, encouraging, and supporting individuals in their personal growth.
Adding another dimension to the evening, Abhishek Chattopadhyay, DTM conducted an educational module on *Table Topics for Contest*. The session included test Table Topics speakers and provided valuable insights into spontaneous speaking, thinking on one’s feet, and delivering impactful responses under pressure. His guidance helped members gain a deeper understanding of preparing for Table Topics contests.
The meeting was particularly special as it welcomed a new member, Toastmaster Vaishalisree Senthilkumar attending her very first Toastmasters meeting, reflecting the club’s welcoming spirit and commitment to encouraging new voices and building confidence.
The evening concluded with a vibrant Diwali celebration. The atmosphere was filled with festive cheer, happiness, laughter, and togetherness. Members came together to celebrate the festival of lights, spreading positivity and strengthening the bonds of friendship within the club.
Meeting No. 384 was truly a reflection of what Toastmasters stands for: *learning without limits, growing together, and celebrating every milestone. * It was not just a Diwali celebration but an evening where knowledge illuminated minds, laughter brightened hearts, and the spirit of togetherness shone brightly.

*ICC Eves Toastmasters wishes everyone a happy and prosperous Diwali! *
