During talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, who is on a state visit to China, Xi called for closer alignment of the two countries’ development strategies.
He said China and Oman should become stable and reliable partners in the energy sector, expand investment opportunities and explore greater cooperation in advanced technologies.
The visit marks the first trip to China by an Omani head of state since the two countries established diplomatic relations 48 years ago.
