A discussion meeting was held in Qatar by expatriates in support of Md. Jahangir Alam, a candidate for chairman in the upcoming local government election for Union No. 9, Bakai Uttar, in Lalmai Upazila, Cumilla, Bangladesh.
The meeting took place on Friday evening, October 23, at Bikrampur Restaurant in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Expatriates from the area attended the gathering to express their support for the candidate.
The event was chaired by Kamal Hossain and moderated by Farid Ahmad. Speakers included Ruhul Amin, Mamun Hossain, Selim Ahmad, Sharif Uddin, Zahid Hossain and several others.
During the discussion, the speakers expressed their commitment to supporting Md. Jahangir Alam’s campaign and helping secure his victory in the upcoming local government election. They also emphasized the importance of unity and collective efforts among expatriates to support their preferred candidate.
