DOHA, September 2: During Qatar Event Show 2026, Rahbar Kisan International Editor-in-Chief Haroon Rashid Qureshi met *Divyanshu Bhagat*, Business Consultant at Helpline Group, who was attending the exhibition on behalf of the company.
During the conversation, Divyanshu discussed Qatar’s growing business environment, opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors and the support available to those seeking to establish or expand a business.
Divyanshu explained that Helpline Group has been operating in Qatar for the past 25 years. The company assists individuals and businesses with establishing new companies and expanding existing operations.
She said the group provides consultancy and support for a wide range of activities including trading, contracting, e-commerce, supermarkets, fruits and vegetables and media-related businesses.
According to Divyanshu, Helpline Group assists clients with Commercial Registration (CR), trade licences and relevant government approvals. The company also provides PRO services and guidance on other procedures required to operate a business in Qatar.
She highlighted the growing opportunities for foreign investors and noted that *100 percent ownership* is available for many permitted business activities. In her view, this has made Qatar increasingly attractive to international entrepreneurs.
For people living outside Qatar who want to start a business, Divyanshu advised them to first have a clear business idea and understand the requirements of the proposed activity. She noted that government services have become more accessible through online platforms including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
She said entrepreneurs should also understand the costs involved before starting and prepare a realistic budget. Careful planning at the beginning can help business owners make better decisions and avoid unnecessary difficulties during the establishment process.
Divyanshu said Helpline Group has helped establish *more than 10,000 companies in Qatar*. The group also has operations in several GCC countries as well as Canada, the United Kingdom and India.
One of the most important aspects of her work, Divyanshu said, is understanding each client’s business idea before recommending a suitable approach. Entrepreneurs come with different expectations, budgets and levels of experience so professional guidance can help them understand the process more clearly.
She believes establishing a company is only the beginning. Entrepreneurs must remain focused on compliance, proper management and long-term growth. Building a sustainable business requires patience, continuous learning and a clear understanding of the market in which the company operates.
Looking ahead, Divyanshu expressed optimism about Qatar’s business potential. She particularly pointed to the continued development of Lusail where new residential and commercial projects are creating opportunities for shops, services and other businesses.

Divyanshu explained that Helpline Group’s services extend beyond company formation. The company can also assist clients with office requirements and connect them with suitable commercial and real estate options.
Its services also include visa and immigration assistance such as visa quotas, employee visas and transfers. Legal translation and document attestation are also available for documents from Qatar and other countries.
E-commerce is another sector Divyanshu considers promising. She noted that many people are now starting online and home-based businesses. Women and homemakers in particular are increasingly using digital platforms to sell products and develop small businesses.
She advised new entrepreneurs to understand their business activity, prepare a proper budget and plan carefully before starting.
Divyanshu also spoke positively about life in Qatar. She said the country’s peace and security impressed her when she first arrived. People from many countries live and work in Qatar which she believes creates a diverse and welcoming environment.
She also emphasised the importance of maintaining a balance between professional success and family life. Financial achievements are important but family relationships and time with loved ones should not be overlooked.
For aspiring entrepreneurs, Divyanshu’s message was straightforward: have a clear idea, make a proper plan and have the courage to take a calculated risk.
She said many people spend too much time worrying about whether a business will succeed or fail. Instead, they should understand the risks, prepare themselves and take the first step.
