Experts from Google, Snoonu, Siemens and MEEZA to discuss how technology and innovation are shaping Doha’s design future
Doha, Qatar; 22 October 2026: Doha Design District, powered by Msheireb Properties, invites designers, creatives, technology enthusiasts and members of the public to attend Tech Talk, the latest instalment in its monthly talks series, taking place on 27 October 2026, from 4 PM to 5 PM at Sada, Doha Design District, in Msheireb Downtown Doha.
Bringing together industry experts from Google, Snoonu, Siemens and MEEZA, the session will explore the evolving relationship between technology, innovation and design, examining how emerging technologies, artificial intelligence and digital solutions are transforming creative practices, shaping human experiences and influencing the future of the built environment.
Moderated by Shaikha Al Thani, the discussion will feature Cynthia Layous, Enterprise Account Manager at Google; Haitham Al-Haidari, General Manager of New Ventures at Snoonu; Abdulhalim Kolko, Managing Director – Buildings and Head of Portfolio Enablement, Middle East, at Siemens; and Firas El Zaknoun, MEEZA’s Strategic Alliances Manager.
Drawing on their diverse professional backgrounds, the speakers will offer perspectives on the opportunities presented by technological innovation across different sectors, from cloud computing and AI to digital platforms and intelligent infrastructure. The discussion will also consider how these developments can inform new approaches to design, foster collaboration and create more responsive, sustainable and human-centred experiences.
