SINGAPORE, Sept. 15 — Google Cloud on Tuesday opened its Singapore Engineering Center, marking the company’s first engineering center in Southeast Asia and establishing a regional hub for product development.
According to a company statement, the center brings together software engineers specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), AI infrastructure, data, computing, machine learning, networking and storage, alongside frontline support teams.
The new center will collaborate with enterprises to develop cloud systems and solutions for deployment in Singapore and other markets, Google Cloud said.
The company said the facility is designed to strengthen its engineering capabilities in the region and support the development of cloud technologies and services for businesses across Southeast Asia.
