MIRPUR, AJK, Sept. 1 — A joint meeting of the district judiciary, administration and police, chaired by District and Sessions Judge Mirpur Jahangir Ahmed Jarral, reviewed judicial performance, case hearings and disposal during the past month.
Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Sajid Aslam, SSP Khurram Iqbal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Ghulam Sher Ahmed, Additional District and Sessions Judge Dadyal Farooq Rasheed, District Qazi Mirpur Gul Rasheed, Judge Family Court Waqar Asfar, Additional Qazi District Dadyal Sarfraz Abbasi, Additional District Qazi Mirpur Karamat Hussain Nizami, Senior Tehsil Qazi Mirpur Abdul Malik, Senior Civil Judge Mirpur Aqeel Ahmed Langrial, Civil Judge Muhammad Altaf, Civil Judge Hamid Masood Abbasi, Tehsil Qazi Tanzeel-ur-Rehman, Tehsil Qazi Dr. Sahibzada Irfan Suharwardi and Civil Judge Dadyal Sehrish Imtiaz attended.
Mirpur DHQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Ijaz Ahmed Raja and Superintendent Central Jail Mirpur also participated.
The participants reviewed issues and obstacles affecting the hearing and disposal of cases and discussed measures to address them.
The meeting decided to take concrete steps to remove difficulties affecting judicial matters and improve coordination among relevant institutions.
The participants stressed further improving the effectiveness of judicial proceedings and ensuring timely decisions in cases. They also emphasised stronger institutional coordination to remove hurdles in the delivery of justice and facilitate timely relief for the public.
