Maryam Khan is a distinguished Urdu writer, columnist, researcher, editor, and PhD Scholar with a strong academic and literary background and valuable experience in literary journalism and cultural activities.
A Gold Medalist in Urdu, she completed her MPhil in Urdu and is currently pursuing her PhD in Urdu. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education, reflecting her deep commitment to Urdu language, literature, education, research, and intellectual development.
Maryam Khan is actively contributing to Urdu journalism and literary editing. She is associated with Daily Roshni Pakistan and performs important editorial and literary responsibilities for the literary pages of Hurmat and Pukar newspapers in Peshawar. Through her work, she promotes quality Urdu literature, encourages emerging writers, and provides literary voices with opportunities to reach wider audiences.
Her articles, columns, research writings, and literary works have appeared on various national and international platforms, including literary forums and publications associated with Qatar, Germany, and Chicago.
