Under the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, the 16th edition of Milipol Qatar 2026, the Global Exhibition for Homeland Security and Safety, will open on Tuesday, 20 October, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). Organised by the Ministry of Interior, the three-day exhibition will run until 22 October, bringing together senior security officials, experts and specialists from around the world.
The announcement was made during a press conference addressed by Major General Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, and Mr. Karen Galstyan, Director of the Milipol Network, in the presence of representatives of the exhibition’s sponsors and supporting organisations, along with media persons.
Major General Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani confirmed that all preparations for the exhibition have been completed. He noted that this year’s edition will feature more than 270 local and international companies and seven international pavilions, covering an exhibition area of 23,000 square metres, in addition to an outdoor area dedicated to showcasing the Ministry of Interior’s vehicle fleet. The exhibition will provide a platform to explore the latest security technologies and solutions, strengthen cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise.
He added that the exhibition will coincide with the Doha International Conference on AI and Security, which will bring together distinguished leaders and experts. He also expressed his appreciation to the sponsors and supporting organisations of both the exhibition and the conference, commending their valuable contributions to the organisation of this international event.
For his part, Mr. Karen Galstyan highlighted the longstanding partnership between Milipol Qatar and the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar since the exhibition’s inception in 1996, when it became the first event in the Milipol series to be held outside France.
He noted that the 16th edition will, for the first time, introduce the 30th Anniversary Awards to honour companies that have maintained their participation over the past three decades, recognising their loyalty and contributions to the exhibition’s continued success and development.
