Jeddah, January 30 (QNA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the ongoing and escalating crimes of Israeli occupation in the West Bank, the latest of which include the bombing of the town of Tammun in Tubas Governorate, resulting in the martyrdom of ten Palestinians, as well as the relentless aggression against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, where 17 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured and arrested.
It further denounced the systematic acts of terrorism by extremist settler groups, the widespread destruction of infrastructure, the establishment of hundreds of military checkpoints, and the installation of iron gates at the entrances to Palestinian cities and towns.
The OIC warned of the dangers posed by the continued war crimes, forced displacement, annexation, and Israeli settlements, all of which represent blatant violations of international and humanitarian laws.
It reiterated its call for the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take immediate action to compel Israel to cease its aggressive policies, ensure accountability for its actions, and provide vital international protection for the Palestinian people.
