Qatar Condemns Houthi Targeting of King Fahd Airport in Saudi Arabia

Doha, October 22 (QNA) – The State of Qatar condemned the Houthi group’s targeting of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, leading to two deaths, several injuries, and material damage.
Qatar described the attack as a grave violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security, the safety of civilians and civilian infrastructure, and air navigation.
In a statement Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its support for all legitimate measures the Kingdom may take to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests. The ministry further affirmed that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of Qatar’s own security and of the collective security system of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
The ministry expressed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the deceased, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
