Doha, November 01 (QNA) – Qatar News Agency (QNA) on Sunday organised a three-day training course on producing media content using artificial intelligence (AI), bringing together its staff members and personnel from several government entities as part of its Training Center’s 2026 plan.
Presented by QNA AI specialists Osama Othman and Maryam Jihad, the course aims to enhance participants’ capabilities in using AI-powered applications in the media sector and strengthen their skills in producing innovative written, audio and visual content.
The programme seeks to familiarise participants with rapid technological developments and the changing requirements of the digital media environment.
It introduces the theoretical foundations and core concepts of AI applications in media production, while equipping participants with the knowledge to use these tools to accelerate and enrich content creation and integrate them into written, audio and visual production workflows.
The course also highlights the role of AI applications in improving operational efficiency and encouraging creativity. Particular attention is being given to developing participants’ ability to evaluate the quality of AI-generated media content and verify its accuracy and credibility.
The two trainers are also explaining strategies for integrating AI into media workflows and using technological tools at different stages of content production, while emphasising their complementary role in supporting human creativity.
Another key component of the programme is the ethical use of AI-generated content, with emphasis on maintaining credibility, accuracy and professional responsibility in producing and disseminating media material.
The training reflects QNA’s continued efforts to develop professional and media skills and strengthen the capabilities of media-sector personnel in responding to digital transformation.
It also forms part of the agency’s broader approach to harnessing AI technologies to advance the content-production industry, enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall quality of media output in line with the evolving demands of the digital age.
