RTA Mirpur Briefs Rickshaw Union on PM Petrol Relief Registration Procedure

MIRPUR, Sept. 17 — Secretary AJK Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Mirpur Waqar Ahmed Khokhar on Thursday briefed representatives of the Rickshaw Union about the procedure, eligibility criteria and registration process for availing the petrol relief announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The briefing was held at the RTA office on the directions of Commissioner Mirpur Division and Chairman RTA Mirpur Raja Tahir Mumtaz Khan.
The RTA Secretary apprised union representatives of the required procedure and documentation for registration under the relief package. He directed them to ensure that all rickshaw drivers in the city were informed about the facility.
Khokhar urged representatives to guide their members regarding the registration process and ensure eligible drivers completed the required information and submitted necessary documents to avail the relief in a timely manner.
He said the government relief package was aimed at mitigating the impact of petroleum prices and providing financial support to people associated with the transport sector.
The meeting focused on ensuring that eligible rickshaw drivers understood the registration requirements and could benefit from the announced relief.
