اپنی کھڑکی میں وہ کھڑی ہوگی
آج پھر مضمحل بڑی ہوگی

عید کا چاند چبھُ رہا ہوگا !
آنکھ میں اشک کی لڑی ہوگی

وہ محبت کے خوشنما ایاّم !
یاد وہ کر کے رو پڑی ہوگی

سر سے آنچل سرک گیا ہوگا
کام کرنے کی ہڑ بڑی ہوگی

اک بڑے گھر کی مالکن ہے وہ
اب کلائی پہ اک گھڑی ہوگی

مضطرب ہوگی مجھ سے ملنے کو
کشمکش میں مگر پڑی ہوگی
