MIRPUR ( AJK): Dec. 16 : Azad Jammu Kashmir Minister for Energy and Water Resources Chaudhry Arshad Hussain has said that December 16, 2014 was the darkest day in the history of Pakistan, when TTP terrorists martyred one hundred and forty-four people in the Army Public School in Peshawar.
He said that entire Pakistani nation including people of Jammu and Kashmir state stands with its brave armed forces to eliminate terrorism.
Talking to this Correspondent here on Tuesday, the minister said “when APS Peshawar was bloodied on December 16, 2014, the nation of Pakistan also took a pledge, taking the Almighty as a witness, that this war of truth and falsehood, survival and annihilation, will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated from the holy land.
“On this day, the entire nation salutes the martyrs. We pray to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant patience and grace to all the survivors”, Chaudhry Arshad said
“December 16, 2014 was the darkest day in the history of Pakistan. The barbarity that was displayed on that day does not allow any religion in the world to commit such heinous and satanic acts. The terrorists are devils disguised as humans who brutally opened fire on innocent flowers. The terrorists involved in such heinous acts have no connection with Islam. Today, it has been 11 years since these martyrs left us, but their grief still prevailed in our hearts”.
These views were expressed by speakers including Ishaq Chohan and Raja Zulfiqar Khan while addressing a prayer ceremony held at Government Pilot High School No. 2, Mirpur for the repose and reward of the martyrs of APS on Tuesday.
Speakers continued that those who martyred the small buds of Army Public School have met their fate bt now – while in this hour of grief, the way the Pakistani army, Pakistani and Kashmiri people have shown determination and courage and supported the Pakistani army by becoming a leaden wall against these unclean enemies, proves that the Pakistani nation will bring these evildoers to justice and die. Due to the Allah Almighty’s -given capabilities and courage of the Pakistan Army, terrorist elements have been eliminated.
Speakers said that by the grace and mercy of Allah, terrorism has been largely eliminated in Pakistan. The Peshawar tragedy was a shock that no matter how much one tries to forget, it creates more sorrow and grief in the hearts. The entire Islamic world and the world have been shaken by this incident.
Speakers said December 16, 2014 was such a black day in human history that its dark night will not end even after centuries have passed. The speakers said that terrorists are enemies of the country and nation and murderers of humanity. The secret of humanity’s survival and prosperity lies in serving humanity. The terrorists who shot innocent flowers in Peshawar have gone to hell, they said.
At the end of the prayer ceremony, special prayers were offered for the unity of the world, the stability of Pakistan, the Kashmir Liberation Movement, the martyrs of the Pak Army, and the martyrs of the Army Public School.
Another prayer ceremony was managed at Government Pilot Model Secondary School No. 1 regarding the APS Peshawar tragedy. On this occasion, the principal of the institution said that the Peshawar tragedy occurred on December 16, 2014, when terrorists attacked the Army Public School. In this tragic incident, 144 people, including 132 innocent children, were martyred.
“This tragedy caused great shock to the entire nation. The sacrifice of the martyrs gave the nation the courage and determination to unite against terrorism”, speakers including teachers and students said while addressing the prayer meeting.
“Pakistan Army is the guardian of the country’s security, sovereignty, peace besides ideological and geographical frontiers. It has stood by the nation in every difficult moment.” speakers said while paying rich tributes to the valiant armed forces of the country.
