Occupied Jerusalem, December 27 (QNA) – 40,000 worshippers performed the Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards amid strict military measures imposed by Israeli occupation forces.
The Department of Islamic Waqf (Endowments) in occupied Jerusalem reported that around 40,000 worshipers performed the Friday prayer at the mosque.
Palestinian WAFA news agency said that Israeli police prevented several Palestinians from entering the mosque and praying inside.
It also reported that colonists carried out religious rituals at Bab al-Qattanin Gate, one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa
