Police have safely rescued Constable Ahmed Nawaz, who was abducted by bandits, after a successful operation in the Kacha area Two days ago, bandits in the Rahim Yar Khan region of Punjab had ambushed a local police team, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 officers and injuries to five others. The bandits abducted Constable Ahmed Nawaz from Kacha Machhka and later released a video of him. According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the rescue of Constable Ahmed Nawaz brought immense relief and joy to his family. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, stated that the safe recovery of Constable Ahmed Nawaz was a top priority. He emphasized that the mission to eliminate criminal elements from the riverine area remains steadfast, with a firm commitment to cleanse the region of bandits. DPO Rahim Yar Khan added that the police force is fully present and focused on their targets in the riverine areas, with high morale.
