MIRPUR ( AJK ): Oct. 3: Engr. Afzal Ziai, President, Kashmir Freedom Movement (KFM) has said that the recent Iranian response to Israel, avenging the martyrdom of Ismael Haniyeh and Hassan Nasrallah, serves as a potent reminder that the forces of oppression couldn’t act with impunity forever.
“Israel’s relentless aggression, both in Gaza and Lebanon, has been a longstanding manifestation of imperialist brutality against the people who seek nothing but their right to self-determination”, the Kashmiri leader said while talking to newsmen here on Thursday.
He said “just as the innocent people of Lebanon and Gaza have suffered under Israeli bombardments, those in Indian illegally ccupied Hammu Kashmir endure the same oppression at the hands of another colonial power – India.
“The parallels between Israeli atrocities in Palestine and India’s aggression in IIOJK were striking. In both cases, we see military occupations, mass detentions, human rights abuses, and the systematic silencing of voices calling for freedom”, he said.
“The people of Gaza, much like those in occupied Srinagar, face daily oppression, living under the shadow of occupation forces that trample their dignity and fundamental rights”, the KFM Chief observed.
He resolved that Jammu Kashmir people always stood in full solidarity with our Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters. Their struggle is our struggle.
“Whether it is Gaza or Kashmir, the forces of occupation will ultimately be defeated by the will of the people. Iran’s retaliation symbolizes the courage to stand up against such forces, and we call on the global community to recognize and support those who fight for their freedom”, the Kashmiri leader said.
Engr. Ziai emphasized that time had come for the world to unite against the oppressors and to bring an end to the occupation of both Palestine and Kashmir.
Kashmiris will continue their peaceful struggle for freedom of Kashmir, free from the shackles of Indian illegally occupation, just as we stand with all oppressed people yearning for freedom from tyranny, the KFM Chief concluded
