Gaza, October 17 (QNA) – Five Palestinians were martyred Thursday in an Israeli airstrike in the central Gaza Strip.

Local Palestinian sources reported that at least three Palestinians were martyred, and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a tent near a school housing displaced persons in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Two others were martyred, and others were injured in an attack near al-Saraya junction west of Gaza City, according to the sources.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported earlier Thursday that the death toll due to the genocide committed by the Israeli entity against the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 42,438 martyrs and 99,246 wounded in an incomplete toll, while thousands of missing people remain under the rubble.
