Ramallah, October 18 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed Friday several villages and towns in the West Bank.
Local sources in “Khalayel al-Loz” said that Israeli soldiers stormed the village located southeast of Bethlehem Governorate, raided and searched several homes, and set up a military checkpoint at its main entrance, stopped citizens’ vehicles, searched them, and checked the identities of their passengers, especially since “Khalayel al-Loz” has recently been subjected to escalating attacks by the occupation forces and settlers, including attacking citizens’ homes, firing bullets at them, and uprooting trees.
In turn, the village of “Khalat al-Mai” east of Yatta was subjected to Israeli military raids, as the occupation forces set up checkpoints in several neighborhoods and seized citizens’ vehicles.
In a related context, a group of settlers attacked the “Shaqif Danan” estate in “Wadi Qana” northwest of Deir Istiya, and assaulted citizens.
In addition, today, the occupation forces suppressed the weekly peaceful march against the occupation in the village of /Kafr Kaddoum/ east of /Qalqilya/, which led to the outbreak of clashes with citizens, and the use of sound bombs and toxic tear gas, without any injuries being reported.
The cities, towns and camps of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem are witnessing raids and incursions into villages and towns by the occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by confrontations, arrests and the firing of live and rubber bullets and toxic tear gas bombs at Palestinians, and the pace of these campaigns has increased in conjunction with the unprecedented and ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for more than a year.
