Beirut, October 22 (QNA) – The Israeli entity continued launching a series of airstrikes on various towns in southern Lebanon, hours after four people were killed and others injured in the vicinity of Hariri Hospital in Beirut.

The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli drone targeted the area between Saksakiyeh and Sarafand in southern Lebanon. Additionally, the outskirts of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Al-Qawzah were subjected to Israeli gunfire, which targeted the forests adjacent to the international border.

Israeli aircraft also carried out a series of airstrikes on the towns of Aita Al-Shaab, Ramiyah, and Naqoura, while heavy artillery shelling targeted the towns of Alma Al-Shaab, Tayr Harfa, Al-Dhahira, and Al-Bustan.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the town of Al-Khiam in southern Lebanon, while conducting extensive sweeping operations with machine gun fire towards the town of Kfar Kila.
In Marjayoun, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting a house in the town of Al-Shaaytiyah, resulting in injuries.

Lebanon has been under Israeli aggression since October 2023, but in recent days, Israel has significantly escalated its air and artillery bombardments, expanding the scope of its attacks to include the capital, Beirut. With this, Israel has murdered and injured thousands of Lebanese civilians, and forced over a million individuals to flee their homes.
