Pakistan Air Force conducts multinational air exercises with key allies

The Pakistan Air Force is currently conducting important multinational air exercises involving several key allies, including the air forces of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir is scheduled to observe the Indus Shield 2024 air exercises and will receive a comprehensive briefing on the scope of the operations. The exercises are part of ongoing efforts to bolster military ties and ensure readiness to address common security challenges in the region. Indus Shield 2024, a joint air exercise, commenced in Pakistan, focusing on enhancing military cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt. This exercise aims to demonstrate the professionalism, capabilities, and readiness of the involved air forces amidst rising tensions in the Middle East. The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) has deployed six Panavia Tornado fighter jets for the exercise. The Turkish Air Force is participating with F-16 fighter jets, while the Egyptian Air Force has contributed Mirage 2000 aircraft. Pakistan is represented by its J-10C fighter jets.
