Beirut, November 10 (QNA) – Eight people were killed and several others injured in a series of airstrikes by Israeli forces on the Baalbek-Hermel region in eastern Lebanon.
In a statement on Sunday, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Shaat in Baalbek-Hermel left four people dead and injured several others. The ministry added that another Israeli airstrike killed four Lebanese civilians and injured one more in the town of Zaghreen, also in Baalbek-Hermel.
Lebanon has been facing an ongoing Israeli offensive for over a year, with an escalation in hostilities since late September, resulting in thousands of civilian casualties and the displacement of over one million people.
