MIRPUR ( AJK): Dec. 6 : India’s incumbent hardliner rulong Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) junta has always been on the oppressive track to ‘conquer’ Internationally-acknowledged disputed Kashmir; this thinking of the party is not new one, it is rooted into the fermentation of its formation based on oldest bias Hindutwa.
Hindutwa is basically a demographic diabolic of this party – to see even stones and sands in India as Hindu; this is extremism to all others within and without India; this party has militarized this pseudo-philosophy: look at the Jammu and Kashmir region; Modi government left no corner vacant in militaring this dispute-plagued region; putting all figures together today’s IIOJ&K is on ground is misruled by over one million Indian armed forces and informal forces; this heaviest torturous strength was deployed as part of BJP government’s plan to ‘win’ elections, socalled elections in IIOJ&K; besides military rule there the Indian government deployed non-Kashmiris at all key posts across the state administrative and spying machinery; the purpose was the same, to ‘win’ elections to show to the outside world that affairs are quite normal in Jammu and Kashmir.

The brutal blow the people of the state bore was the abrogating the special clause 370 and 35-A that had guaranteed special status of IIOJ&K in the Indian constitution; not content to this game of ‘chivalry’ Indian government bifurcated the IIOJ&K state and annexed its parts to India; here is a core surprise: under the UN charter no disputed region’s geography can be tampered with what to speak of bifurcation; UN should have taken urgent notice of his gross violation of the UN charter by India as the dispute over Jammu and Kashmir is a live issue before the UN security council; but double shock that the UN passed no resolution condemning India for this dangerous violation; but despite these three shocks the brave kashmiris took electoral revenge from the BJP government when they defeated in the state elections this party; so, ultimately a coalition of National Conference and Indian Congress had to form a “government” in Srinagar.

Its “Chief Minister” Omar Abdullah is publicly seeking ways to restore the statehood of IIOJ&K and he had got passed a restoration resolution by his Srinagar assembly; in his first meeting with Indian PM Narendra Modi he handed over to him the resolution demanding restoration of statehood to J&K; but no tangible outcome! media reports indicate that to destabilize the Omar Abdullah government, India in stealth manner creating law and order situation in occupied Kashmir; there is a great resentment in Abdullah “regime” for this newest BJP government’s nefarious move.

Actually India wants an excuse to crush the Kashmiris for not supporting BJP in the IIOJK socalled state assembly “elections”. And this reaction is bound to force Kashmiris take to roads protests. And pro-freedom forces may join the mass agitation against Indian unlawful occupation now entered in 78th year. And the sad saga shall go on for the worst phase of the Kashmiri life.
