TASHKENT, January 27. /Dunyo IA/– Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov in Tashkent to discuss bilateral cooperation and plans for 2025.
Saidov welcomed Meredov and emphasized the strong and growing strategic partnership between the two nations. “Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan Leaders have laid a solid foundation for sustaining the positive trajectory of our relations. Today’s discussions covered all areas of cooperation, both bilateral and multilateral,” he stated.
The meeting focused on strengthening political, economic, and cultural collaborations. Both sides reviewed past achievements and outlined key initiatives for 2025, including high-level exchanges and increased sectoral cooperation. The discussions underscored a shared commitment to advancing regional stability and economic growth.
Saidov also congratulated Turkmenistan on initiating the International Year of Peace and Trust, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in fostering regional harmony and development.
