Police Academy joins INTERPOL Global Academy network

Paris, February 06 (QNA) – The Police Academy signed an agreement today to join the INTERPOL Global Academy network, officially becoming a member, in presence of HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani.
The agreement was signed at the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) headquarters by President of the Police Academy Brigadier Abdul Rahman Majid Al Sulaiti, and Secretary General of INTERPOL,Valdecy Urquiza.
The INTERPOL Global Academy is a worldwide network of renowned educational institutions in the field of law enforcement at both national and regional levels, enhancing global training in this field through the exchange of best practices and experiences.
The Police Academy’s membership in this network will contribute to the development of training and educational programs aimed at improving police skills in Asia and beyond.
The Police Academy’s joining of the INTERPOL Global Academy network is an important step toward enhancing international security cooperation and developing police capabilities in the region and worldwide.
