Kyiv, February 10 (QNA) – The Ukrainian Air Force announced Monday that its defenses had shot down 61 drones launched by Russia overnight.
In a statement, the Air Force reported that Russia attacked Ukrainian airspace using 83 drones, targeting several areas including Korsk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The statement noted that Ukrainian defenses managed to down 61 of these drones, while 22 others disappeared from radar screens.
Russia and Ukraine frequently exchange claims of downing each other’s drones almost daily. However, verifying the accuracy of these reports is challenging due to the ongoing war conditions, which make accessing combat zones and verifying data difficult.
