BERLIN, February 10. /Dunyo IA/. – Uzbekistan showcased its agricultural potential at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025, the world’s largest exhibition for fruit and vegetable trade, held in Berlin from February 5 to 7. The event, themed “Effective Connections,” attracted over 3,000 participants from 90 countries, highlighting innovations in agricultural processing, storage, and export.
The Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by the Uzbek Embassy, organized the country’s participation. Leading agricultural companies presented fresh and dried fruits, vegetables, spices, and beverages at Uzbekistan’s national stand, covering 200 square meters. Notable exhibitors included “Agrikultur Export Product,” “GDF Agro” LLC, “Process” LLC, “Urgut Ufa Invest” LLC, and others.
Uzbek representatives held B2B meetings with major European importers from Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, and Baltic states. Discussions centered on expanding exports, investment in processing facilities, and strengthening trade ties. The exhibition opened new doors for Uzbek agribusiness to enhance international partnerships.
Entrepreneurs praised the fair’s impact:
• Erkinjon Inamov, EXIM AGRO: “Interest in Uzbek dried and fresh fruits is growing. We received partnership offers from Germany, the UK, Slovenia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.”
• Torsten Janssen, Janssen Handel: “Uzbekistan’s pavilion introduced us to sweet dried fruits unavailable in Europe. We see strong potential for future cooperation.”
• Saidvali Nasretdinov, GDF Agro: “The exhibition helps us connect with partners. We discussed direct exports of fresh fruits to Central and Eastern Europe.”
FRUIT LOGISTICA, held annually since 1993, is a key platform for global agribusiness, offering opportunities for trade, networking, and investment in the industry. Uzbekistan’s participation reinforces its growing reputation as a major player in the international agricultural market.
