Kashmiris stand Pakistanis by faith, AJK PM:

MIRPUR ( AJK): February 17 : Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said “Kashmir’s relationship with Pakistan is deeply embedded in the Islamic faith, culture and history – since we are by faith Pakistanis”, he added.

Talking to an electronic media channel at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis on Monday, the prime minister was of the view that the main strength behind his unambiguous narrative on the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle is the Pakistan’s armed forces and its people.

He said that Kashmiris won’t hesitate to make any sacrifice for Pakistan. “We are ready to sacrifice everything for the state of Pakistan”, he said, adding that “not to speak of water, Kashmiris are even willing to sacrifice their lives for the country”.

Referring to the biggest challenges confronted by his government, the PM said, “Dead projects like incomplete Rathua Haryam Bridge project, Jagran Power Project, environmental issues caused by Neelum Jhelum Project and electricity and flour crisis are amongst the main issues we inherited from the previous governments”.

The present government, he said, has taken steps to resolve all these problems.

He said that the government has no plans whatsoever to slash subsidy on electricity and flour.

He said that work was underway to accomplish ongoing electricity projects in time. , The PM further said that efforts were afoot to stopping electricity theft.

Commenting on purported reports on no confidence motion being brought against him, the PM said that rumours mongers have been engaged in spreading such kind of stuff for the past two years.

Referring to protests held under the aegis of Awami Action Committee, the PM said that the government has handled situation in the region wisely.

” If such a protest had taken place in occupied Kashmir, the Indian army would have flown down the river of blood by killing people”, he remarked.

Commenting on Kashmir issue, the PM said that the UN resolutions provide a comprehensive roadmap on the resolution of Kashmir issue.
He said that Kashmiris reserve the right to fight for their freedom.
