DOHA, Qatar • 2 March 2025 – QatarEnergy celebrated the graduation of a new group of Qatari nationals who have successfully completed their academic and vocational programs, joining QatarEnergy and other key energy sector companies.
The graduates will contribute to Qatar’s energy industry through roles at QatarEnergy, QatarEnergy LNG, QAFCO, Shell Qatar, North Oil Company, Woqod, Q-Chem, ORYX GTL, QAFAC, QAPCO, Qatalum, and Qatar Steel.
His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, President & CEO of QatarEnergy, congratulated the graduates and acknowledged their families for their unwavering support. He also praised QatarEnergy’s education and training teams for their dedication to preparing the next generation of energy professionals.
Addressing the graduates, Minister Al-Kaabi highlighted the vital role they will play in shaping Qatar’s leadership in LNG, petrochemicals, urea, and helium production. He urged them to embrace the challenges ahead with commitment, discipline, and innovation.
“You are stepping into a defining phase for QatarEnergy and the nation’s energy sector, where we are strengthening our leadership in global energy markets. The path to success is not easy or paved with roses. It requires hard work, commitment, and discipline. I wish you all success as you begin this journey,” he said.
The ceremony concluded with Minister Al-Kaabi presenting certificates of appreciation to all graduates, along with symbolic gifts for outstanding achievers in their respective fields. Senior executives, officials from QatarEnergy, and representatives from the energy sector attended the event, marking this significant milestone in Qatar’s workforce development.
