Doha, March 21 (QNA) – The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has called on all Muslims to make the most of the last 10 days of Ramadan by engaging in extra prayer and night worship, reciting the Quran, supplication, seeking forgiveness, charity, maintaining family ties, and other good deeds. It emphasized following the example of the Prophet, peace be upon him, who devoted himself intensely to worship during these final nights of the month.
In a statement released today, the Ministry noted that Laylat Al Qadr, which occurs on one of the last ten nights, is considered the most significant night of the year. It added that Allah has made acts of worship on this night better than those performed over a thousand months. The Ministry also pointed out that since the exact night is unknown, believers are encouraged to devote themselves to increased worship and righteous deeds during all of these nights, seeking the blessings of this special occasion.
The statement urged Muslims to take full advantage of these auspicious days by turning to God with humility, observing prayers in mosques, and consistently engaging in remembrance of God and prayers for forgiveness and mercy.
The ministry said that the final days of Ramadan present a unique opportunity to perform more acts of devotion and to strive earnestly by following the example of the Prophet, peace be upon him, who heightened his worship in these nights in the hope of experiencing Laylat Al Qadr, described as being superior to a thousand months.
