MIRPUR (AJK): March 27: In view of the current situation in the country, the Eid holidays of the officers / staff of the departments of essential services including Revenue, Police, Health, Municipality, Electricity, Public Health, Civil Defense and Rescue 1122, which provide emergency services in Mirpur district of Azad Jammu Kashmir have been canceled, it was officially announced.

According to an official press release issued by the District Magistrate Mirpur, the officially announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays are commencing from March 31 to April 02, 2025 in Azad Jammu. “During the Eid holidays, the concerned officers / staff will remain present on their duties in their respective offices for the uninterrupted provision of these essential services to deal with any eventuality.

“Immediate action will be taken In case of any emergent situation so that the public could not face any difficulty during Eid ul Fitr festival holidays, according to an official handout quoting the press release issued by the Mirpur District Magistrate. All departments will be bound to send their duty rostrum to the District Magistrate’s office, the handout added
