Russian President ratifies strategic partnership agreement with Iran

Moscow, April 21 (QNA) – Russian President, Vladimir Putin, Monday signed the law on ratification of the agreement on the comprehensive strategic partnership with Iran.
The agreement sets out the framework for both countries to deepen and expand their relations in all areas of mutual interest, enhance cooperation in the fields of security and defense, and closely coordinate activities regionally and globally.
It also stipulates that both sides may also conduct joint investments in third-country economies.
The agreement was signed in January 2025, during Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to Moscow.
