MIRPUR ( AJK): June 04: The President Azad Jammu and Kashmir State Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has approved a 60-day special remission in prisoners’ sentences (except for those convicted of terrorism and heinous crimes), under Article 10 of the interim constitution of AJK, 1974, it was officially announced.
The remission was granted to prisoners lodged in various jails of Azad Jammu Kashmir state on the eve of the celebration of the sanctified festival of Eid ul Adha, falling in Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir on June 07, AJK President office told this Correspondent here on Wednesday.
