JERUSALEM, June 19, Over 30 people were injured after Iranian missiles struck targets in Israel on Thursday, hitting residential buildings and a hospital. Israeli media reported that about 30 missiles were launched, with four evading air defenses and landing in the Tel Aviv area and Beer Sheva.
In Tel Aviv and its suburbs, two people were critically wounded and four seriously injured. Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva sustained damage when its surgery wing was hit, though patients had been evacuated earlier.
Iran alleged the hospital was used for military purposes, a claim Israel denied. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Iran would face full consequences.
This attack follows Israel’s June 13 airstrikes on Iran. Since then, nearly 600 Iranians and 24 Israelis have reportedly died. Iran’s military warned of further “punitive operations,” advising civilians in Tel Aviv and Haifa to evacuate.
