St. Petersburg, June 20 (QNA) – Qatar News Agency (QNA) is participating in the photo exhibition held alongside the 19th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), currently underway in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Titled ‘The Lively World of Journalism,’ the exhibition showcases a distinguished selection of photographs that highlight the contributions and legacy of Asian news agencies in covering events and fostering media exchange.
The 19th OANA General Assembly, which began on Thursday, is addressing four key themes: combating fake news, regulating the use of artificial intelligence in media work, evolving editorial policies during crises, and promoting cultural exchange among the peoples of Asia and the Pacific Rim.
Founded in 1961, OANA aims to enhance the exchange of news and information among member agencies in the region. The organization includes some of the most prominent news agencies from across Asia and the Pacific.
