Kashmiri delegation reaches Geneva to brief UNO, Global HR bodies about worsening human rights conditions in IIOJK:

MIRPUR ( AJK): June 23: A high-profile 8-member Kashmiri delegation, led by prominent rights activist and Chairman of the Kashmir Institute of International Relations (KIIR), Altaf Hussain Wani, reached Geneva on Monday to brief the United Nations and international human rights bodies on the worsening situation in Indian- illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir state, it was officially rally said.

The delegation comprising Kashmir freedom struggle leaders and human rights activists will attend 59th session of the Human Rights Council, being held in the Swiss capital city, leader of the delegation said while talking to this Correspondent here on Monday.

The delegation will apprise Geneva based diplomats members of human rights council and world human rights groups about the unabated human rights violations perpetuated by Indian troops against civilians in the UN recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, he revealed.
