MIRPUR ( AJK): June 2: Former Advisor to AJK Government and Chairman ‘Lovers of Pakistan Forum’ Chief Mr Hameed Shaheen Alvi, Wednesday congratulated 250 million people of the country on Pakistan’s assumption of presidency of the UN Security Council.

“This successful event shows Pakistan’s positive international position. Pakistan is bound to have more such global successes in promoting new coordinated internationalism”, he said in statement issued here on Wednesday.

Lovers of Pakistan Forum (LOPF) Chief was commenting Wednesday on assumption of presidency of the UN Security Council by Pakistan as a matter of great pride. It enhances confidence in national efforts for economic stability and national progress, he added.

LOPF Chief said that this important event has sent a glittering beam of optimism all across the state of Jammu and Kashmir whose ultimate geo-fate is linked with Pakistan. An unabated emphasis is required to instill the ideology of Pakistan as urgency in the heads and minds of rising youth generation in the country, he stressed.

Replying a question Mr Alvi said that without affecting intrinsic interests Pakistan should more liberally strive to have strategic ties with all super powers. Pakistan’s international peace role is by now a sound legacy, he reminded.
