NCSA concludes 2025 summer Cybersecurity Youth Camp with closing ceremony

Doha, August 7 (QNA) The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) held the closing ceremony of the 2025 Summer Cybersecurity Youth Camp, attended by HE Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Maliki, President of NCSA, along with partners, cybersecurity experts, and students.
The camp, hosted at Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys, was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Sports and Youth. It brought together around 400 students aged 13 to 17 from both public and private schools across Qatar.
HE Eng. Al Maliki honored strategic partners, guest speakers, and top-performing students during the ceremony. The initiative is part of NCSA’s broader mission to build a digitally aware, innovative, and skilled generation, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes digital empowerment and youth development.
Dalal Al Oqeidi, Assistant Director of Cybersecurity Policies and Strategies at NCSA, highlighted the camp’s intensive curriculum covering web fundamentals, attack analysis, network systems, cyber defense, and ethical hacking. The program merged theory with practical application, allowing students to develop real-world solutions to digital challenges. Recreational and team-building activities were also integrated to foster collaboration, creativity, and a strong learning culture.
Maryam Ali Al Nisf Al Buainain, Director of Schools and Student Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, praised the successful partnership with NCSA in organizing the second edition of the camp. She emphasized its role in preparing students for a secure digital future and nurturing both leadership and technical competencies.
The camp also featured expert-led panel discussions offering insights into digital safety, career pathways in cybersecurity, and inspiring success stories. These sessions helped boost participants’ confidence, encouraged curiosity, and motivated them to explore further opportunities in the tech and cybersecurity sectors.
