Rawalpindi (Representative Special) Potohar’s largest journalist organization, Potohar Union of Journalists (PUJ), was awarded the “Excellent Performance Medal” in recognition of his prominent services in the field of graphic designing.

This special medal was named after Lance Naik Mohammad mahfooz (Shaheed) Mark Haider, who is the great national hero of Pakistan and a soldier who sacrificed his life for defense. Medal Chairman and Founder Potohar Union of Journalists, Dr. Mohammad Atiq Farhad himself wore Awais Raja.

This glorious and dignified event was named after the martyrs to pay tribute to all the heirs who sacrificed their lives for the survival and security of the countrymen.
The event was organized on Afzal Marquee, Kahuta Road, in which a large number of journalists, writers, intellectuals, graphic and media professionals, social figures and distinguished guests participated in large numbers.
Addressing the services of Awais Raja, Dr. Atiq Farhad said: The services that Awais Raja offered in graphic designing are worthy of praise. His creativity, professionalism and the high quality work of PUJ in the branding and media presentations of journalists is proud of PUJ. It is a great responsibility for me to receive the award named after Lance Naik Muhammad mahfooz Shaheed. I will always try to serve journalism and media with my creativity. The closest end was done with special prayers for the martyrs, and collective prayers for the security and stability of Pakistan. Participants praised the organization’s efforts and hoped that PUJ would continue to highlight the services of talented people with the same spirit in the future.
