A one-day free medical screening camp is being held today at the VOH Head Office, New Abadi, Jhang Syedan, Islamabad, under the banner of Awaz-e-Insaniyat Welfare. The camp runs from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, offering free checkups, screenings, and health awareness sessions for the local community.
The primary objective is to raise awareness about preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and effective treatment. Special screenings for lung diseases, blood pressure monitoring, and sugar tests are being conducted, along with diagnosis of asthma, tuberculosis, COPD, and other conditions. Free counseling and lifestyle guidance are also provided to encourage healthy living.
This initiative is a joint effort of Awaz-e-Insaniyat Welfare, Dubious Foundation, and the Professional College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences, Islamabad. Credit goes to Chairman Raja Muhammad Haroon Dhanyal and Vice Chairman Raja Kamran Abid Dhanyal, whose tireless dedication reflects their commitment to serving humanity.
Chairman Raja Haroon Dhanyal, recipient of the Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal, is widely respected for his leadership and humanitarian vision. Vice Chairman Raja Kamran Abid Dhanyal has also played a dynamic role in welfare projects, from providing free education for orphans to distributing rations to widows.
Speaking to the media, Chairman Haroon Dhanyal said:
“Our goal is not just treatment but awareness—prevention leads to healthier lives.”
Vice Chairman Kamran Abid Dhanyal added:
“Health is the foundation of prosperity. We invite all residents to benefit from this camp.”
Local citizens praised this initiative as a gift of health, calling both leaders role models in public service and community development.
