MIRPUR (AJK): August 22: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (Yasin Malik ) JKLF-Y has announced to host a conference titled “Save Yasin Malik Conference” at the Islamabad Hotel in the federal capital on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2:30 PM, JKLF (Y), officially announced on Friday.

The organization’s Chief Spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar said in a statement issued here on Friday that Yasin Malik has been the worst victim of political vendetta at the hands of the Indian government.

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (Yasin) Friday accused India of manoeuvring to covert life imprisonment of party’s incarcerated Supremo Yasin Malik to capital punishment, it was officially said by the organization.

“For the purpose of raising Yasin Malik’s voice based on truth and justice, and bringing the undemocratic and inhumane measures of the Indian government against him to the attention of the international community, the JKLF has decided to host a conference titled with “Save Yasin Malik Conference” at the Islamabad Hotel on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2:30 PM”, the Spokesman stated.

” In addition to influential political leaders, prominent representatives from the journalist community, human rights organizations and civil society are invited to the conference”, the central spokesman said

According to the spokesman, a committee headed by Saleem Haroon, the central vice chairman of the JKLF, has been tasked to finalize the arrangements for the conference.

Rafiq Dar informed “based on actionable suggestions presented by the participants on Yasin Malik’s cases and Indian actions, the scheduled conference is expected to announce important programs and initiatives of national and international nature”.

He termed Indian attempt to convert his life imprisonment into death sentence as a blatant injustice.

Yasin Malik is the guardian of people’s rights in Jammu Kashmir, he said adding that the JKLF has decided to organize “Save Yasin Malik Conference” to raise his voice worldwide.

The spokesman invited the political leadership along with prominent civil society representatives to attend the conference. He hoped solid steps of national and international nature to be taked based on actionable suggestions.

Chief Spokesman JKLF (Yasin) continued that Yasin Malik, the famous kashmir freedom struggle leader from across the both sides of the ceasefire line in Jammu Kashmir state and illegally incarcerated chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) was languishing in notorious Indian Tihar Jail for over six consecutive years. “Muhammad Yasin Malik has been the worst victim of political vendetta at the hands of PM Narendra Modi led government of India”, the spokesman underlined.

Elaborating Rafiq Dar said that the jailed Kashmir freedom movement icon Yasin Malik, was defenselessly and unjustly victimized and imprisoned for life in May 2022 by a Delhi based special court under the garb of fabricated and politically motivated cases filed against him by the government agencies.for his political belief.

Muhammad Rafiq Dar, the central chief spokesman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and special representative of Yasin Malik, in his latest statement issued here on Friday from the party’s Central Information Office, described Indian efforts to convert Yasin Malik’s life sentence to death sentence on trumped-up charges as blatant injustice and an eye-opener for civilized nations and international human rights organizations.

The spokesman said that Yasin Malik, who enjoys the overwhelming support of the people of the State, has become a champion and metaphor for national independence of Jammu Kashmir and people’s right to self-determination. By taking such steps against Yasin Malik, the Indian government is actually trying to suppress a strong and powerful voice for public rights in the State, Rafiq Dar added.
