Doha, Qatar – 7 October 2025: Big 5 Construct Qatar, the largest construction event in Qatar, returns in its 5th edition, alongside INDEX Design Qatar, the country’s leading design and fit-out event for its 6th edition at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from 14-16 October 2025. The two events will welcome over 250 exhibitors from more than 25 countries, including China, India, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, the UAE and the US, reflecting the international interest in the Qatar driven by large-scale opportunities.
The exhibitions will feature diverse exhibitors across the construction and design value chain, from advanced digital construction and facilities management to luxury interiors and sustainable design solutions. By connecting international suppliers with regional buyers, investors and decision-makers, Big 5 Construct Qatar and INDEX Design Qatar provide a high-value platform for commercial opportunities, strategic partnerships and securing a stake in Qatar’s expanding project pipeline under Qatar’s National Vision.

International exhibitors such as Asteria from the UAE, a specialist in construction solutions; Entech Engineering PC from the US, known for advanced engineering services; Gulf Plastic and Converting Industries from the UAE, a manufacturer of plastic products for construction; KORKOMAZ Trading & Investment from Sudan; DOMUM Technologies from the US, focusing on smart building solutions; and Embosal Steel Mills from the UAE, a producer of structural steel products; and Al-Jazea Industrial for Construction Chemical from Saudi Arabia, specializing in structural and performance-enhancing chemical solutions, will showcase their latest solutions and innovations, catering to Qatar’s development ambitions.
Turkish participation features prominent companies including Mikroton Kimya, specializing in construction chemicals; Interflex Plastik, a manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions; Oncu Grup Kagit Plastik, known for paper and plastic products; and Senfoni Mimari, offering architectural design services. Qatari representation includes HP Industries, a supplier of industrial equipment and machinery; Labragah, a prominent real estate development company; Swan Global, providing construction services; Butec Qatar, specializing in construction solutions; Senwo Global Construction & General Contracting; and Al Mazroui ICAS, supporting Qatar’s growing construction landscape.
INDEX Design Qatar will feature specialized exhibitors, including Al Afkar Almobtkra Decor Works & Contracting from Qatar, showcasing local interior expertise; Ero-Plas Plastik from Türkiye, manufacturing plastic solutions for interiors; Marble World from Qatar, a leading supplier of natural stone products; Jemkon from India, offering interior solutions; and Emaar Industries from Oman, providing regional design expertise.

Advancing industry knowledge through expert-led sessions
Running alongside the exhibition is a series of curated sessions at the CPD-certified Big 5 Talks, addressing critical industry themes. A headline presentation by Amna Al Baker, Corporate Building Information Modeling (BIM) Lead, Public Works Authority (Ashghal) titled, Transforming Qatar’s construction future with BIM and digital project delivery, will explore how digital technologies are reshaping project execution and collaboration in Qatar’s construction sector.
The sessions also include interactive panel discussions enabling industry dialogue. One of the panel discussions on The International Property Measurement Standard (IPMS), moderated by Adrian Camps FRICS, Head of Valuation and Consultancy, Capstone, will address standardization efforts impacting project valuation and development, featuring insights from Qatar Rail, DG Jones, CBM Qatar and AECOM. Another session on Data-driven construction: Using digital tools to optimize delivery and collaboration, led by Matt Doran, MENA Regional Hub Manager, Chartered Institute of Building, will examine how technology integration enhances project outcomes, featuring experts from Quantum Global Solutions and University of Doha for Science & Technology among others.
INDEX Design Qatar’s INDEX Design Talks will address key trends shaping the interiors sector. Traditional wisdom will meet contemporary sustainability in the keynote presentation Old but Gold – Learning from History and Nature to Build a Sustainable Future, delivered by Alaa Albarazy, Founder and CEO of The A Design Studios. Meanwhile, the AIA Middle East Panel Discussion on Women Shaping Sustainable Futures in Design, moderated by Esra Lemmens, Founder & Design Strategist, The Esra Lemmens Agency, will highlight female leadership in sustainable design practices and their impact on regional projects, featuring insights from AIA Middle East Board of Director, VCUarts Qatar and ScaleQatar.
