In an event rich with reflection and inspiration, The Next Generation School honored its Class of 2025 graduates, recognizing years of dedication, achievement, and growth. This year’s ceremony embodied TNG’s ongoing mission to nurture academic excellence, leadership, and global citizenship.
TNG CEO Ms. Shagufta Bakali opened the ceremony with heartfelt remarks, expressing pride in the graduating cohort and reflecting on the remarkable journey of both campuses. She commended the accomplishments of TNG Al Wakra and Al Daayen, whose students have continued to demonstrate excellence and perseverance. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as graduates from both campuses received their certificates, marking a milestone in their academic journeys. The ceremony also proudly recognized valedictorians Anas Ali Khan, Hasaan Junaid Kasmani, Abdullah Bin Zubair, and Huda Masroor. Delivering the Valedictorian Address, Hasaan Junaid Kasmani reminded his peers that success is a personal journey, urging them to measure progress through self-growth rather than comparison.
The celebration was graced by distinguished guests from Ministry of Education and Higher Education, as well as dignitaries from various embassies and academic institutions. Mr. Ali Al Tamimi, 1st Schools Expert from Private Schools and Kindergarten Department at MOEHE, congratulated the students in his address; while representatives from the Embassy of Pakistan, Mr. Salman Khalid and Mr. Osama Idrees shared valuable insights on nurturing morals and essential soft skills. Dr. Shaker Lashuel, Executive Director of Global Studies Institute, delivered an inspiring address encouraging graduates to cultivate gratitude, purpose, and a strong commitment to giving back to their communities.
The event also celebrated TNG’s academic excellence and global recognition. TNG Al Daayen students were commended by British Council for their National Award in the prestigious “Your World” competition, while students from TNG Al Wakra were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements from the previous year. Two students Ahmed Yasir and Ayaan Ali had achieved top positions in Qatar for IGCSE Islamiyat and IGCSE Global Perspectives respectively, while Anas Ali Khan had secured third place in Qatar in the British Council’s distinguished “Best Across Four” AS Level category. These achievements exemplify TNG’s commitment to holistic development—empowering learners to excel academically while building leadership skills and global awareness.
TNG Principal Ms. Ailia Rizvi congratulated students, parents, and teachers for these collective achievements. She also emphasized the importance of remaining deeply human in an age of AI, highlighting values and emotional intelligence as defining traits. “The true test of character lies in how we respond to a challenge or crisis. Real courage is not in the person with the loudest voice or the strongest arm, but the one who stands up for what is true and ethical.”
Teachers were further recognized for their unwavering support and guidance. Faculty members whose mentorship led to outstanding student achievements were honored with awards and certificates, reflecting TNG’s commitment to fostering a collaborative, inspiring, and achievement-oriented learning environment.
The ceremony culminated with a reflective address by TNG Director Mr. Riyaz Ahmed Bakali, who shared insights on the value of gratitude, urging graduates to express it through problem-solving, innovation, and service to society. He encouraged them to pursue research and development as a means to find solutions, cure diseases, and meaningfully contribute to their communities.
As the Class of 2025 embarks on the next chapter of their lives, the TNG community celebrated their achievements and the strong foundation of knowledge, values, and resilience that will guide them to contribute meaningfully to society with purpose.
