Within the framework of the SSC, several agreements are expected to be signed in fields such as defense, trade, investment, and academic cooperation. A high-level delegation will accompany H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, on his visit to Doha. The delegation will include five ministers — the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Trade, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Minister of National Defence, and Minister of Industry and Technology — as well as heads of institutions and members of parliament.
The Committee will feature a bilateral meeting between H.E. President Erdoğan and H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar as well as a meeting between the delegations.
At its 11th session, the SSC will address priority areas reflecting our shared vision for development and stability.
Discussions will focus on expanding bilateral trade, advancing joint investment projects, and strengthening cooperation in defense, energy, and environmental sustainability. Cultural exchange, educational initiatives, and healthcare partnerships are also on the agenda, demonstrating our comprehensive approach to a partnership built on deep-rooted brotherly ties.
Held annually, the SSC meetings reflect the ever-growing partnership between Türkiye and Qatar, which has become a model of regional and international cooperation.
The 11th session will underscore both our long-standing collaboration and our joint determination to further elevate relations in line with the evolving regional and global landscape.
I can proudly and confidently state that our bilateral relations have reached new horizons, characterized by strategic depth and sustainability, under the leadership of H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and H.H. Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Türkiye and Qatar have been — and will remain — a model of solidarity, standing shoulder to shoulder in times of both challenge and prosperity, working together for the security and stability of our nations, our region, and humanity at large.
