On April 8th, an iftar party was held at Rose Bangla Place Hallroom in Doha, Qatar, attended by notable figures including Mr. E M Aakash from Aakash Media Bhuban, Bangladesh Ambassador H. E. Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, and entrepreneur Korban Ali Rasel. The event, chaired by Mr. Shahjalal Gazi, saw the participation of various professionals from the Bangladeshi community. The Ambassador acknowledged Akash Media’s support for expatriates worldwide, making Eid celebrations easier for Qatari expatriates. He thanked all involved in organizing the event on behalf of the Bangladesh Embassy. Event Assistant Director Shakhat Hossian Sagor also contributed to the successful proceedings, fostering unity among Bangladeshi expatriates in Qatar
On the evening of April 8th, Monday, an iftar party was organized at the Rose Bangla Place Hallroom in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The event was graced by the presence of notable dignitaries and esteemed guests.
Mr. E M Aakash, Director of Aakash Media Bhuban, honored the occasion as the chief guest and distributed Eid gifts to the attendees. Among the distinguished guests were H. E. Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, the Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar, and Korban Ali Rasel, a young entrepreneur, who attended as special guests. The event was presided over by Mr. Shahjalal Gazi, the advisor of the organization and Comilla Friends Club of Qatar.
The gathering also included esteemed personalities such as Mr. Matrio Saji, an Indian businessman, Mr. Zakir Hossain Babu, Advisor of Akash Media Bhuban, Rakibul Hasan, a prominent businessman, Mohammad Yusuf, President of Jamalpur District Welfare Association, Amin Bepari, General Secretary of Qatar Bangla Press Club, as well as Eng: Md Mofiz, Firoz Ahmed, and others, representing various professions within the Bangladeshi community.
During his speech, the Bangladesh Ambassador expressed gratitude towards Akash Media for their support towards expatriates worldwide, which contributed to the successful arrangement of the event. He emphasized how such initiatives ease the celebration of Eid for Qatari expatriates. On behalf of the Bangladesh Embassy, he extended his appreciation to all those involved in organizing the event.
The event also saw the presence and commendable work of Event Assistant Director Shakhat Hossian Sagor.
The iftar party served as a platform for fostering community spirit and camaraderie among Bangladeshi expatriates in Qatar, reflecting the unity and solidarity within the community.
