WISE 12 Summit to Highlight Human Values in Education on November 24–25

Doha, November 12 (QNA) – Doha will host the 12th World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), a Qatar Foundation (QF) initiative, under the theme “Humanity.io: Human Values at the Heart of Education”, from November 24–25, 2025.
The biennial summit will gather leaders, experts, and innovators from over 150 countries to explore how human values can be embedded in education systems, ensuring equity and access for all learners amid rapid developments in artificial intelligence and innovation.
Aurelio de Amaral, Director of Programs at WISE, emphasized that the summit aims to translate research into practical solutions in collaboration with governments and academic partners. He highlighted the WISE Testbed initiative, which supports QF’s collaboration with local schools to develop evaluation frameworks tailored to their specific educational needs.
Since its inception, WISE has brought together more than 15,000 participants from diverse educational and research sectors, providing a platform for decision-makers and experts to exchange experiences and advance practical solutions to global educational challenges.
Amaral noted that the six finalists for the 2025 WISE Prize for Education exemplify innovation making education more inclusive. Their projects range from AI applications in education, curriculum development in resource-limited environments, and support for refugee education, to enhancing access for visually impaired students and teacher training initiatives.
Selma Talha-Jebril, Director of Research and Policy at WISE, explained that the summit emphasizes action-oriented research to support decision-making, focusing on scaling inclusive solutions across educational contexts.
Dr. Lolwa A. Al Naemi, Director of Strategy and Partnerships in QF’s Higher Education division, highlighted that QF supports over 300 students from more than 120 nationalities through grants, scholarships, loans, and merit-based awards. She added that QF ensures equitable, high-quality education and fosters inclusivity, diversity, and sustainable societal impact.
Through its initiatives and global partnerships, WISE continues to serve as a leading platform for shaping the future of education and promoting equitable and inclusive education systems worldwide.
