Islamabad, December 2 (QNA) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met Tuesday with Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Pakistani Prime Minister affirmed his country’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation with Turkiye, particularly in the energy sector.
He welcomed the participation of Turkish companies in exploration activities in Pakistan, considering it a significant development in bilateral energy cooperation. He also encouraged Turkish companies to increase their investments in key economic sectors in Pakistan.
Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in the mining sector were also signed between the two countries during the meeting.
